DT1: Aim High BPM
DT1 tends to have snappy aim movement and the occasional bursty patterns, at a faster BPM than the other aim maps which require faster reaction. Grand Finals stage maps may also implement high AR (up to AR10.3 after DT)

HR2: Small CS
Often referred to as "precision", these are maps with small circles (most commonly CS6.5 after HR) that increase the aim accuracy requirement.
These maps are taken from beginner tournament pools such as BQT, 6WC, etc.

HD2: Low AR
Low AR maps tend to be reading heavy with stacks, weird aim and/or spacing, and sometimes finger control. The star rating is generally lower since it doesn't account for reading mechanics.
These maps are taken from beginner tournament pools such as BQT, 6WC, etc.

NM3: Alternating
Alt maps are mapped with rhythm density and slider velocity in a way that makes single-tapping much more impractical.
